We are glad you’ve visited the Visions for Europe project. It is our wish that during the Czech Presidency of the EU Council, it will gather as many different perspectives as possible on what our continent should look like in the future and how to deal with the challenges we face together. You will meet various personalities from culture, science and politics, often with their very personal stories. If at least one of the "visions" catches your eye and makes you wonder what kind of Europe you would like to see for yourself, it has all made sense.

Leon Jakimič is an entrepreneur and founder of LASVIT, the Czech Republic-based design company. Over the course of 15 years, he has built LASVIT into a globally recognized multinational design house specialized in space-making. 

Leon is a member of many eminent professional organizations, including the Advisory Board of Parsons Paris and the Young President’s Organization. Through LASVIT Foundation, he is actively supporting the North Bohemian region of the Czech Republic. He is a keen tennis player and a proud father of five children.
